1995 The company was established. Major business was electric control engineering.
2003 Manufacturing of hydraulic turrets and power turrets with technology transferred by the Machinery Department of ITRI.
2005 Developed servo turrets by integrating the patented mechanism transferred by the Machinery Department of ITRI.

COCOLO inherited the patented turret positioning design from the machinery department of ITRI, which has been patented in Germany, Japan, Taiwan and the USA. The patented hydraulic turret design was extended to servo turret design for greatly upgrading turret performance. The exclusive design of three-piece coupling features high precision positioning. The turret disc does not move out to fully prevent chips and coolant from entering. In addition, the specially designed internal pretensioned mechanism assures outstanding rigidity and accuracy during reverse cutting.

Three-piece Coupling: The specially designed three-piece coupling permits high precision positioning. The turret disc does not move out to prevent chips and coolant from entering, while assuring high positioning accuracy, high power output, high rigidity and repeatability.
Great Reverse Cutting Capability: The specially designed internal pretensioned mechanism greatly increase rigidity and accuracy for reverse cutting.
Gear-driven Servo Turret: High speed indexing without noise.
Cam Drive Mechanism for Hydraulic Turret:

The cam drive mechanism provides a high speed rotation and indexing of the turret disc. It also features simplified construction, maximum durability, easy maintenance and no tool interface.


 
Hydraulic clip of ITRI
Uses a hydraulic system to control the division and the combination of the three-piece toothed coupling to attain the turret's precise positioning and comprises a piston ring on the output shaft. The area of the piston ring's end plane which is subjected to hydraulic pressure, is greater than the area of the slider's end plane inside the three-piece toothed coupler
and its end plane is also subjected to hydraulic pressure. At the same time the three-piece toothed coupler is in meshing, the output shaft can obtain an inward pulling force to prevent the output shaft from propping up only a very small distance.
